WHAT TO USE TRAILED PACKERS FOR

Trailed packers are used for reverse compaction of opened soil to avoid the loss of moisture, and therefore they are an essential part of any soil cultivator. Trailed packers can also be used for finer crumbling and crushing of clods created during soil cultivation.

TRAILED CUTTERPACK CT

The trailed CUTTERPACK CT consists of two rows of self-cleaning cutter discs. Cutter discs cut up crop residue, crumble clods, mix crop material with soil, and level the surface after previous soil cultivating machines so that the field is prepared for seeding in one pass.

The trailed CUTTERPACK CT is equipped with a telescopic drawbar that makes it possible to substantially shorten the transport length of the set. It is available with a working width from 4.6 to 6.3 metres.

HEAVY STEEL PRESSPACK PT

The heavy trailed PRESSPACK PT consists of two rows of self-cleaning steel rings. The sharp edges of the rings effectively crumble clods even in more difficult soil conditions and level the surface after previous machines so that the field is prepared for seeding.

The high weight of the packer, 600 kg/m, allows the packer to effectively close soil to prevent the loss of any potential moisture, essential for the proper growth of the crop to be seeded. The packer is made in working widths from 4.6 to 6.3 metres.

The V-PRESSPACK VT_PROFI WITH A LARGE RING DIAMETER

The V-PRESSPACK VT_PROFI is a detachable trailed packer. The working parts of the packer are solid rollers with welded rings in the shape of an inverted V, designed mostly for reverse soil compaction after previous deep cultivation, with the aim to maintain moisture and prepare the field for seeding.
