ATLAS AO_PROFI is in the category of heavy disc cultivators. The robust cultivator with a short frame is designed for cutting, mixing and incorporating large quantities of crop residue and organic matter in the soil, even in wet conditions. The ATLAS AO_L model line is a robust line of universal disc cultivators with properties suitable for processing large quantities of crop residue, as well as for stubble breaking after harvesting cereals.

X-PRECISE SYSTEM

Precise disc cultivator guidance in the right track.

ATLAS AO_PROFI models have disc sections arranged in the shape of X. This innovative technical design eliminates drifting of the machine to the side. That allows the disc cultivator to precisely trace the tractor track. The central double disc reduces the risk of ridge formation.

INTEGRATED AXLE AND PACKER LAYOUT

Extremely stable even at higher working speed.

The two-row layout of rear packers provides better stability at high speed than one row design, and also eliminates the gap in disc cultivators with two rollers in one row. The integrated axle ensures even distribution of the machine weight and eliminates its swaying. Moreover, it ensures safer transport and reduces the turning radius of the tractor with the cultivator at headland.

ROBUST DISC CULTIVATOR

Easy soil penetration even during drought.

The ATLAS AO_PROFI disc cultivator is a heavy version of these cultivators. Its robustness makes the cultivator heavy and allows it to create an even down pressure on the disc working section that can penetrate soil without problems even during drought. The machine robustness also contributes to excellent incorporation of large quantities of matter.

LARGE SPACING BETWEEN SECTIONS

For processing large quantities of mass without the risk of clogging.

ATLAS AO_PROFI heavy disc cultivators have properties that predetermine the machine to be used for processing large quantities of crop residue, catch crop and other organic matter (slurry, manure). For trouble-free work and elimination of potential clogging of the machine, even when working in wet conditions, this model line offers a sufficient distance between the individual working sections. The distance between the front and rear row of the disc section is more than 145 centimetres and the distance of discs to the rear packer axis is up to 145 cm. The frame clearance is about 70 centimetres and it provides trouble-free throughput.

TRASH CUTTER

A cutting roller for tough crop residue.

The ATLAS AO_PROFI cultivator can be equipped with the Trash Cutter roller in the front, an ideal choice for cutting crop residue and hard stalks. Such cut crop residue decomposes better in soil and facilitates subsequent soil cultivation, preventing machine clogging.

EASY WORKING DEPTH SETTING

Easy operation.

The basic model of the ATLAS AO_PROFI disc cultivator already includes easy setting of working depth without using hydraulic clips. The working depth is set using the hydraulics on the rear rollers and the front support wheels.

BEDNAR EASY CONTROL

Complete electric-hydraulic control of all functions.

ATLAS AO_PROFI can be equipped with electrical-hydraulic machine control. BEDNAR EASY CONTROL is the Company’s own software that provides a fully automated control of the disc cultivator and allows setting the working depth from the cabin in an easy and simple way, using the tractor’s display, or by connecting an ISOBUS cable with the tractor’s display.

HYDRAULIC DRAWBAR

Perfect terrain tracing – always and anywhere.

The ATLAS AO_PROFI disc cultivator is equipped with a hydraulic drawbar. We use this technical design as it facilitates the connection to the towing vehicle, and above all, improves the quality of work because the disc cultivator perfectly traces any terrain unevenness.

ALFA-DRILL SEEDING UNIT

Simple and easy catch crop establishment using a disc cultivator with a seeding unit.

The ATLAS AO_PROFI disc cultivator can be equipped with the BEDNAR ALFA DRILL seeding unit while in production, for seeding catch crop and small-seed plants during stubble breaking, all in one pass. The time and fuel savings are considerable. The seeding unit has a capacity of 400 litres.

Drawbar

A hydraulically adjustable drawbar contributes to perfect terrain tracing and levelling any unevenness.

Double front support wheels

Disc section

Disc section with serrated or aggressive discs, with a diameter of 620 × 6 mm and NON-STOP spring protection.

Integrated axle

Provides even distribution of the machine weight, contributes to better stability, and eliminates the risk of machine swaying at higher working speed. Another advantage lies in the reduced turning radius at headland and high manoeuvrability, even in rugged terrain.

Rear packers

The wide range of rear packers make it possible to adjust the machine to any conditions. Two-row packer layout prevents machine swaying during work. The packers help close the surface and prevent evaporation of soil moisture.

Tine harrow

It perfectly levels any minor unevenness and evenly spreads clods along the entire machine width.

DOUBLE-ROW REAR PACKER LAYOUT

The two-row layout of rear packers provides better stability at high speed than a one row design, and also eliminates the gap in machines with two rollers in one row. The machine must work in a steady and stable manner to achieve a levelled field without waves.

HORIZONTAL NON-STOP TINE PROTECTION

NON-STOP protection is provided by a horizontal spring at 200 kg, which provides an ideal digging force and pressure on each disc. It is designed especially for heavier and dry types of soil.

X-PRECISE SYSTEM OF THE DISC SECTION

The unique technical design ensures precise machine guidance in the track. Thanks to that, the entire width of the disc cultivator is used because there is no drifting of the machine.

MAINTENANCE-FREE BEARING DESIGN

The discs are placed in maintenance-free ball bearings with lifelong charge. The tightness of the bearing is ensured by a cartridge git seal. They are oversized, which ensures trouble-free operation.

FLEXI-BOX MOUNTING OF TINES TO THE FRAME

FLEXI-BOX provides a maintenance-free mounting of tines to the frame. Each pin is fixed in a casing with special segments. The design does not require any lubrication, and it also reduces micro-vibrations transmitted from the discs to the frame.

Front cutting roller Trash Cutter

The front, screw-shaped Trash Cutter roller is equipped with sharp blades. The small roller diameter enables to achieve a high circumferential speed. The roller provides an excellent cutting effect in processing the stalks of oilseed rape, sunflower, or catch crop. Thanks to that, the crop residue is mixed with soil better, which accelerates its decomposition. The down pressure of the roller is controlled hydraulically from the tractor cabin.

Optional equipment to be mounted in front of the packers

Crushbar leveller

The leveller in front of the rear double packers is used for levelling off any unevenness after the previous section. The packers only consolidate soil, they do not level it. The outcome is a perfectly levelled field.

Disc section

Aggressive discs

The specially shaped discs offer a higher cutting and mixing effect. They also penetrate soil better in the dry season. The aggressive disc discs have a lot of cutting edges along the circumference for easy incorporation of a large quantity of crop residue. The sharp blades efficiently cut crop residue. Moreover, the profiled shape allows bringing out more soil. Available with a diameter of 620 x 6 mm.

Serrated discs

The disc section is usually equipped with serrated discs, with a diameter of 620 × 6 mm.

ALFA-DRILL seeding unit

It is used for planting catch crop, grasses, or for all-area fertiliser application. You can do two operations in one pass and reduce your costs.

Rollers and packers

CUTPACK Packer + scrapers

CUTPACK is a heavy steel packer with a high cutting capability and an excellent reverse compaction effect. Suitable for heavy soils. Packer diameter 630 mm. Weight: 222 kg/m (including scrapers). The packer is suitable for use with Zero-Mix tines.

RUBBERPACKER + scrapers

The Rubberpacker is a solid packer made of hard natural rubber, suitable for any conditions. The levelling effect is excellent thanks to the packer weight. Soil adhesion to the packer is almost none thanks to the rubber and scrapers. Packer diameter 590 mm. Weight: 217 kg/m (including scrapers).

DOUBLE-ROLLER Packer

This packer consists of a tube and slatted packer with different diameters. The packer is suitable for cultivating medium and light types of soil in drier conditions. Packer diameter 470 and 370 mm. Weight: 132 kg/m.

V-RING Packer + scrapers

V-RING is a heavy steel packer suitable for intense crumbling and reverse soil compaction. The packer is suitable for all types of soil. Packer diameter 630 mm. Weight: 169 kg/m (including scrapers).

Double V-RING Packer

V-RING is a packer with individual rings shaped in a V. The packer has an outstandingly low stickiness, which prevents the packer from clogging when wet. The rows are offset, which provides an excellent self-cleaning effect. The double packer increases machine stability at work. Packer diameter 630 mm. Weight: 162 kg/m.

Double U-RING Packer (600 mm)

The U-RING packer is a double-row steel packer. The rows are offset, which provides an excellent self-cleaning effect. The packer is great for crumbling, and the U-shape rings and the low risk of clogging make it suitable for work in wet conditions. The double packer increases machine stability at work. Packer diameter 600 mm. Weight: 230 kg/m.

SEGMENTED Packer + scrapers

The segmented packer is made of massive steel parts for perfect compaction, suitable for all types of soil. The individual segments perfectly crumble clods. Packer diameter 530 mm. Weight: 202 kg/m (including scrapers).

TUBE Packer

The tube packer is made of massive steel rods with a good crumbling effect, particularly when reaching higher working speed. Packer diameter 630 mm. A suitable design for light soils. Weight: 121 kg/m.

STUBBLE CULTIVATION
Quality and fast stubble cultivation is one of the most important operations in tillage. According to good agrotechnical practices, it should be carried out as soon as possible after the harvest. This will ensure the optimization of soil moisture management, the rapid emergence of weeds and thus prevent the later weeding of land.
