The VERSATILL VO_L semi-mounted cultivator is designed especially for seedbed cultivation, even in conditions with higher quantities of crop residue. Its low weight makes it ideal for very early spring soil cultivation. In the case of lighter soils, the machine can be used for the first stubble breaking after harvest. The integrated axle and the tine arrangement after the individual wheels make it possible to use the cultivator also without the rear rollers.

A semi-mounted cultivator with a wide range of application throughout the year, designed for shallow cultivation, seedbed cultivation, and mechanical weeding.
The VERSATILL VO_L semi-mounted cultivator has an excellent high throughput thanks to the arrangement of tines in five rows. The spacing between the individual tines is 17 centimetres, thanks to which the machine can also be used in conditions with high quantities of crop residue. 100 % overlapping of the individual tines provides excellent undercutting of the soil profile and even processing along the entire width of the machine.
VERSATILL VO_L is also suitable for early spring soil cultivation thanks to its light, but durable construction. Five rows of tines can be equipped with various types of working chisels or sweeps. The machine can be equipped with levelling bars in combination with a packer, mounted after the main working section, or with a three-row harrow with the finish roller.
The VERSATILL VO_L semi-mounted cultivator is equipped with the “Standard” tines (vibration, single-spring tines). These tines are suitable for lighter types of soil. In the case of heavier soils and frequent use of the machine for shallow cultivation of up to 10 cm, we recommend using the HD tines, or “Heavy-Duty” (reinforced, two-spring vibration tines).
According to the estimated use, the tines can be equipped with sweeps or chisels. The available sweeps of 200 or 250 mm guarantee 100 % overlapping; the 200 mm LONG LIFE sweep has carbide edges that increase its durability. The double-sided 60 mm chisels are suitable for early spring soil cultivation or stubble cultivation in lighter types of soil. Also, the 55 mm LONG LIFE chisels with carbide edges are available.
Driving across the field should be kept to minimum especially during spring cultivation, in order to preserve winter moisture in soil. The VERSATILL VO_L cultivator can be equipped with the hydraulically-controlled Crushbar, mounted in the front, with a comfortable control of the working angle from the tractor cabin during work.
The working depth is set hydraulically from the comfort of the tractor cabin. The hydraulic working depth setting is included in the basic equipment. The working depth is set on the transport and support wheels of the machine.
The transport axle is located at the centre of the machine, which reduces the turning radius at headland and, above all, allows working without the rear packers. Moreover, the machine can be equipped with a three-row harrow instead of the packers. An ideal machine for mechanical weeding.

The hydraulically controlled Crushbar leveller is especially suitable for initial surface levelling and for breaking the rough furrow before the disc section. The individual leveller strips are reinforced. It is easily controlled using the hydraulic circuit from the comfort of the cabin.

V-RING is a heavy steel packer suitable for intense crumbling and reverse soil compaction. The packer is suitable for all types of soil. Packer diameter 630 mm. Weight: 169 kg/m (including scrapers).
The U-RING packer is a double-row steel packer. The rows are offset, which provides an excellent self-cleaning effect. The packer is great for crumbling, and the U-shape rings and the low risk of clogging make it suitable for work in wet conditions. The double packer increases machine stability at work. Packer diameter 600 mm. Weight: 230 kg/m.
SEEDBED CULTIVATION
Soil preparation is an important operation for the formation of a uniform and balanced seedbed prior to crop establishment. Each crop and field requires different soil preparation based on the climate, or the chosen date of cultivation. The aim of the seedbed cultivation is to create an ideal soil structure in the field, with a harder bottom and loose top soil layer, to level the field after previous operations, and to open, warm up and aerate the soil profile for even crop emergence.
