The heavy trailed PRESSPACK CT is suitable for clod crumbling and consolidation of the surface in heavy soils.
The individual rings of the heavy trailed PRESSPACK PT are interlocked. It provides the self-cleaning effect in wet conditions, and also all-area compaction.
The heavy trailed PRESSPACK PT consists of two rows of steel rings. The sharp edges of the rings effectively crumble clods, even in difficult soil conditions. The high weight of the packer, 600 kg/m, allows the packer to effectively close soil to prevent the loss of any potential moisture, essential for the proper growth of the crop to be seeded.
The heavy PRESSPACK PT can be equipped with ballast weight of 600 kg on the side frames to ensure its proper work, crumbling and closure of soil surface along the entire width of the machine. The ballast weight helps create an even down pressure on the both machine frames.
The individual steel rings have a special shape along their circumference. This wavy shape provides better penetration of the rings in the soil and easy turning.
The drawbar of PRESSPACK PT is telescopic. It retracts for transport to reduce the transport length of the machine. The retracted drawbar is then 4 metres. The drawbar extends for field work to avoid collision when turning.

The drawbar retracts for transport, the packer is then 3.8 metres long. The drawbar extends for field work to avoid collision with the aggregated machine when turning.
It consists of two interlocking rows of heavy steel rings with a diameter of 625 × 5 mm for perfect crumbling of heavy soils and final surface consolidation.
Provides packer stability during transport.
SEEDBED CULTIVATION
Soil preparation is an important operation for the formation of a uniform and balanced seedbed prior to crop establishment. Each crop and field requires different soil preparation based on the climate, or the chosen date of cultivation. The aim of the seedbed cultivation is to create an ideal soil structure in the field, with a harder bottom and loose top soil layer, to level the field after previous operations, and to open, warm up and aerate the soil profile for even crop emergence.
