The SWIFTERDISC XO_PROFI model line is a professional line of disc cultivators with properties suitable for soil cultivation after harvest, as well as for seedbed cultivation.
Stubble breaking is one of the most important field operations. According to the proper agricultural procedures, it should be done as soon after harvest as possible. For this operation, SWIFTERDISC XO_PROFI can be equipped with serrated or aggressive discs with a diameter of 520 × 5/ 560 × 5 mm, providing excellent cutting, mixing with soil and incorporation of crop residue. The rear packers compact soil and close the cultivated soil profile to ensure even emergence of weeds and unwanted cereal seeds.
The small disc diameter in combination with the high working speed provide a high circumferential speed of the discs, which leads to excellent crumbling and mixing effect of the disc section. If you are planning to use the disc cultivator for soil preparation more frequently, we recommend adding the front Crushbar leveller to the SWIFTERDISC XO_PROFI, for levelling unevenness and breaking the rough furrow.
SWIFTERDISC XO_PROFI models have disc sections arranged in the shape of an X. This innovative technical design eliminates drifting of the machine to the side. That allows the disc cultivator to precisely trace the tractor track. The central disc reduces the risk of ridge formation.
The two-row layout of rear packers provides better stability at high speed than a one row design, and also eliminates the gap in disc cultivators with two rollers in one row. The integrated axle ensures even distribution of the machine weight and eliminates its swaying. Moreover, it ensures safer transport and reduces the turning radius of the tractor with the cultivator at headland.
Machines can frequently get clogged while stubble breaking or incorporating larger quantities of crop residue due to low clearance, or when the working speed is restricted to avoid the formation of waves. In their disc cultivator category, SWIFTERDISC XO_PROFI cultivators offer the largest distance between the front and rear row of the disc section, 140 centimetres, and the distance of discs to the rear packer axis is up to 160 cm. The frame clearance of 60 centimetres makes it possible to also incorporate large quantities of organic matter or manure.
The SWIFTERDISC XO_PROFI disc cultivator is equipped with a hydraulic drawbar. We use this technical design as it facilitates the connection to the towing vehicle, and above all, improves the quality of work because the disc cultivator perfectly traces any terrain unevenness.
SWIFTERDISC XO_PROFI can be equipped with unique tractor track cultivators for perfect loosening of the hardened soil layer. Adding spacers between disc holders can increase the working depth of the discs against other discs in the row by 2-4 centimetres.
SWIFTERDISC XO_PROFI can be equipped with electrical-hydraulic machine control. BEDNAR EASY CONTROL is the Company’s own software that provides a fully automated control of the disc cultivator and allows setting the working depth from the cabin in an easy and simple way, using the tractor’s display, or by connecting an ISOBUS cable with the tractor’s display.

The ball bearings with an oblique contact are closed by two static and one dynamic cassette seal with four sealing ribs, and they move in a solid metal body. The bearings are attached to the disc with six bolts. They are oversized, which ensures a trouble-free operation.
The mounting of two discs on one tine provides twice the space for rubber segment protection. The rubber segments absorb shocks formed during soil cultivation. The cultivator works fast and without maintenance, even in very difficult conditions. The rubber is high quality, with a long service life.
One tine for two discs provides a high material throughput. Crop residue can easily flow through the machine (large quantities of straw, crop residue after grain maize). Most disc cultivators only have one tine per disc. Such design restricts the flow of material namely in wet conditions, or when there are large quantities of crop residue.
The unique technical design ensures precise machine guidance in the track. Thanks to that, the entire width of the disc cultivator is used because there is no drifting of the machine.

The hydraulically controlled Crushbar leveller is especially suitable for initial surface levelling and for breaking the rough furrow before the disc section. The individual leveller strips are reinforced. It is easily controlled using the hydraulic circuit from the comfort of the cabin.
The front, screw-shaped Trash Cutter roller is equipped with sharp blades. The small roller diameter enables to achieve a high circumferential speed. The roller provides an excellent cutting effect in processing the stalks of oilseed rape, sunflower, or catch crop. Thanks to that, the crop residue is mixed with soil better, which accelerates its decomposition. The down pressure of the roller is controlled hydraulically from the tractor cabin.
The leveller in front of the rear double packers is used for levelling off any unevenness after the previous section. The packers only consolidate soil, they do not level it. The outcome is a perfectly levelled field.
The specially shaped discs offer a higher cutting and mixing effect. They also penetrate soil better in the dry season. The aggressive disc discs have a lot of cutting edges along the circumference for easy incorporation of a large quantity of crop residue. The sharp blades efficiently cut crop residue. Moreover, the profiled shape allows bringing out more soil. Available with a diameter of 520 × 5 and 560 × 5 mm.

The Rubberpacker is a solid packer made of hard natural rubber, suitable for any conditions. The levelling effect is excellent thanks to the packer weight. Soil adhesion to the packer is almost none thanks to the rubber and scrapers. Packer diameter 590 mm. Weight: 217 kg/m (including scrapers).
The PRESSPACK is a heavy steel packer that consists of two rows of steel rings. This type of packer is suitable for heavy soils. It offers a great crumbling and compacting effect. Packer diameter 630 mm. Weight: 310 kg/m (including scrapers).
This packer consists of a tube and slatted packer with different diameters. The packer is suitable for cultivating medium and light types of soil in drier conditions. Packer diameter 470 and 370 mm. Weight: 132 kg/m.
V-RING is a heavy steel packer suitable for intense crumbling and reverse soil compaction. The packer is suitable for all types of soil. Packer diameter 630 mm. Weight: 169 kg/m (including scrapers).
V-RING is a packer with individual rings shaped in a V. The packer has an outstandingly low stickiness, which prevents the packer from clogging when wet. The rows are offset, which provides an excellent self-cleaning effect. The double packer increases machine stability at work. Packer diameter 630 mm. Weight: 162 kg/m.
The U-RING packer is a double-row steel packer. The rows are offset, which provides an excellent self-cleaning effect. The packer is great for crumbling, and the U-shape rings and the low risk of clogging make it suitable for work in wet conditions. The double packer increases machine stability at work. The tube packer is made of massive steel rods with a good crumbling effect, particularly when reaching higher working speed. Packer diameter 630 mm. A suitable design for light soils. Weight: 121 kg/m.

Quality and fast stubble cultivation is one of the most important operations in tillage. According to good agrotechnical practices, it should be carried out as soon as possible after the harvest. This will ensure the optimization of soil moisture management, the rapid emergence of weeds and thus prevent the later weeding of land.
